Monday Morning Humor
It’s Super Bowl Week here in the good old USA and that could only mean one thing for Monday Morning Humor: Super Bowl commercials. While there has been a downturn in the quality of commercials in recent years (enough with the male enhancement ads please), Bud Light has consistently provided creative, ridiculous, and humorous interludes from the football action. Therefore I’m serving up three Bud Light commercials from the 2008 Super Bowl, when the Giants dashed the Patriots’ aspirations for a perfect season.

I always look forward to the Super Bowl commercials…and hope they have a better year this year than the Eagles did. That should not be too hard to do. Actually, now that I think of it the Eagles’ year was way more funnier than anything we’ll see during downtime on Sunday.

I totally forgot about that Carlos Mencia how to pick up chicks group. I think there were a couple leading up to that one. Whatever happened to Mencia?
I’d forgotten about him as well. I think he’s doing standup at the local Ramada Room.
I hope I’m not being too blasphemous here, but I’ll confess, I mostly watch the superbowl for the commercials…especially the Budweiser ones!
Budweiser’s marketing people are incredible. I still love the old “Wasssssssap!” commercials.
Oh how I love Super Bowl commercials. Can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store this year. That last one is hysterical haha.
The ability to fly one is great! I love the Super Bowl because it’s almost like there are no commercials. It’s either football or some damn funny stuff.

Great post to kick off SuperBowl week! Try as I might, I just can’t get myself worked up over this year’s contest. Now, don’t worry about me. I’ll be strategically seated, equidistant from the bar and the food.

Thanks for posting the ads, Jed; our stupid cable company doesn’t run the US ads, instead they fill the spots with the same old boring Canadian ads!

I can fly…… Them the sound thump, lol.
snicker. The accent thing really does work. My Dad’s French; accent and all. I’ve seen one of my co-workers get weak in the knees when I introduced him to her. Of course, Dad also kissed her hand so that might have helped.
I think the only accent that doesn’t work is German though.
